ROUND 14 SEPANG (WET) RACE REPORTS

Hi everyone
Got a good start into P3 on lap1, I managed to stay with Rick and Wardy for a couple of laps, then Nick got past me then I made a small mistake. The gap to the front 3 just kept on getting bigger as I made a few small errors in a very lonely race.
Only saw gavin twice to lap him, thx for moving over mate
glad to get 4th and increase my lead over Yam, I'm away for next weeks race so need the buffer of points.

Well done Nick, Wardy and Rick, looked a very close race for you 3.

Hi racer,for me this race has been terrible,no god wet for me and i had a problem with monitor and i start 10 second after the start,larry and yamma i see but for the pression to cacht they i mistake a lot.i arrive 7th but in the last lap i exit.ciao all

2nd. Had a great start from the 2nd row and managed to get up to 1st out of turn 3. I hadnt had any practice on this track so I was slow to get up to speed and was making small errors which eventually dropped me into 3rd with Nick pulling away in 2nd. I then started to find some pace, i got on Nicks tail and outbraked him on the start finish and then followed rick closely for several laps before he made a mistake and let us both through. I lead for a while before I went wide and let Nick through as he was right on my tail. He then started to really push, the gap was up to 1.5 at one point but slowley I closed it back down and was right behind him with only 3 laps to go before I crashed. Weird crash, 1st gear tight left and it just spun out. I was dissapointed as I didnt think i'd done anything different than the 17 previous laps but I must have done because the PS3 does not lie. So now the gap is +5, so no point in me risking loosing 2nd and just wanted to get it home, then on the last lap into turn one Nick is getting up after a crash, I couldnt believe it, he still had 1.5 secs, I got it down a little but he held his nerve to the line. I know I gave it a good go as it was the fastest lap of the race on the last lap. Really dissapointed I couldnt win at Sepang, but at the same time happy as it was such a great race. Well done Nick, you have a massive lead in the c'ship now. Well done to all the others too, see you in Oz

had a good start in the first lap i was on p2 and wardy in front i closed the gap and overtaked wardy and taking the lead of the race first with a small gap on wardy and nick .. but they coming closer but i stay on p1 until lap 11 and making a mistake and run wide into the grass so on p3 now ,, and a gap on nick and wardy , after that i push hard and try to closed the gap but a mistake again so i try to get fogus and go for p3 .. had a good pace this race finishing just 6 sec behind the race leader so i m happy with it and looking forward to the next one ,

well done to nick and wardy and for all that finish
